* Paper counts are estimates of peer-reviewed human clinical literature on PubMed for listed ingredients at comparable doses. Findings do not reproduce any single study and vary by dose, duration, and population. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. Our dose, in research context
There isn't one universal "clinical dose" for a given ingredient — study amounts vary by the specific form used, standardization, the population studied, and the outcome measured. Rather than reduce that to a pass/fail comparison, we publish our exact amount alongside the form, standardization and research context for each ingredient.
Key principle: Vitals combines research-backed nutrients and standardized botanical extracts in thoughtfully selected amounts. Where an amount is directly drawn from a reference study population (like AREDS2 for Lutein/Zeaxanthin), we say so. Where research on an ingredient uses a range of forms and doses, we describe that range rather than implying one figure is the single correct target.
| Ingredient | Vitals Dose | Research Context | Form / Standardization | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rhodiola Root Extract | 200mg | Studied botanical / research-backed | 3% Rosavins | Stress + resilience support |

| Magnesium | 200mg elemental | Meaningful daily mineral amount | Magnesium Bisglycinate | Muscle + nervous system support |
| Vitamin D3 | 2,000 IU | Commonly studied daily amount | Vitamin D3 (VegD3®) | Immune + bone support |
| CoQ10 | 100mg | Human-researched amount | CoQ10 | Cellular energy + heart support |

Form determines what actually gets absorbed
Two products can list the same ingredient at the same dose. What matters is whether your body can actually absorb and use it. ThryveOn uses only premium bioavailable forms throughout.
Magnesium: Form Matters Most
Vitamin B12: Bioactive Form
Cyanocobalamin must be converted by MTHFR enzyme — impaired in ~40% of North Americans.
Folate: Bypassing MTHFR
~40% of Canadians and Americans carry MTHFR variants that impair folic acid conversion.
Zinc: Absorption Rate
Vitamin K2: Half-Life
MK-7's 72-hour half-life ensures sustained carboxylation of osteocalcin and Matrix-Gla protein for bone and cardiovascular protection.

Your results timeline
Micronutrients and botanicals work on physiological timescales — not overnight. Here's what the clinical literature suggests at each phase. Individual results vary based on baseline status, diet, and lifestyle.
Foundation: Gut & Cellular Priming
Probiotics are taken daily. Magnesium Bisglycinate starts restoring intracellular magnesium in the ~50% of North Americans who are deficient. Energy and sleep may begin to stabilise.
Stress Response & Energy Shift
Adaptogens like ashwagandha are typically taken for several weeks before people notice a difference. CoQ10 and PQQ support mitochondrial electron transport chain efficiency.
Cognitive Clarity & Mood Regulation
Lion's Mane neurological effects become measurable — the Mori 2009 RCT showed significant cognitive function improvement from week 8. L-Theanine and CDP-Choline have sustained alpha-wave activity improvements.
Joint, Immunity & Visual Health
MSM and boswellia support joint comfort with ongoing use. Lutein + Zeaxanthin measurably increases macular pigment optical density. Vitamin D3 restores 25-OH-D serum levels.
Deep Restoration & Long-term Benefits
By 90 days, the Choudhary 2019 RCT shows maximum cognitive and sleep benefits from Ashwagandha. Bone health biomarkers become measurable. ALCAR and CoQ10 continue compound mitochondrial energy improvements.
Individual results vary. The timeline above is based on published clinical trial outcomes at the doses used in ThryveOn Vitals. Your results depend on your baseline nutritional status, existing deficiencies, sleep, diet, exercise, and other lifestyle factors.
