Dosage Transparency

Our dose, in research context

There isn't one universal "clinical dose" for a given ingredient — study amounts vary by the specific form used, standardization, the population studied, and the outcome measured. Rather than reduce that to a pass/fail comparison, we publish our exact amount alongside the form, standardization and research context for each ingredient.

💡

Key principle: Vitals combines research-backed nutrients and standardized botanical extracts in thoughtfully selected amounts. Where an amount is directly drawn from a reference study population (like AREDS2 for Lutein/Zeaxanthin), we say so. Where research on an ingredient uses a range of forms and doses, we describe that range rather than implying one figure is the single correct target.

Bioavailability Science

Form determines what actually gets absorbed

Two products can list the same ingredient at the same dose. What matters is whether your body can actually absorb and use it. ThryveOn uses only premium bioavailable forms throughout.

Magnesium: Form Matters Most

Magnesium Bisglycinate ThryveOn uses~40%
Magnesium Citrate~25%
Magnesium Oxide industry standard~4%

Vitamin B12: Bioactive Form

Methylcobalamin ThryveOn usesDirect CNS use
Cyanocobalamin cheap formRequires conversion

Cyanocobalamin must be converted by MTHFR enzyme — impaired in ~40% of North Americans.

Folate: Bypassing MTHFR

5-MTHF (Methylfolate) ThryveOn uses100% usable
Folic Acid industry standardBlocked in MTHFR variants

~40% of Canadians and Americans carry MTHFR variants that impair folic acid conversion.

Zinc: Absorption Rate

Zinc Bisglycinate ThryveOn uses~43%
Zinc Gluconate~25%
Zinc Oxide cheapest form~12%

Vitamin K2: Half-Life

MK-7 (menaquinone-7) ThryveOn uses72-hour half-life
MK-4 (menaquinone-4) shorter acting1–2 hour half-life

MK-7's 72-hour half-life ensures sustained carboxylation of osteocalcin and Matrix-Gla protein for bone and cardiovascular protection.

ThryveOn VITALS™ is a daily dietary supplement in a 16.1 g stick pack, made by ThryveOn LLC (ThryveOn Naturals) and manufactured by Vitaquest International in a cGMP facility in New Jersey, USA. One stick is mixed with 250–350 ml of water once daily. It contains 63 ingredients, each listed on the Supplement Facts label with its exact amount — vitamins and minerals in active forms, adaptogens, a five-strain probiotic blend, digestive enzymes, and antioxidant botanicals, with zero proprietary blends and no sprinkle dosing. VITALS™ costs $99.99 one-time or $89.99 per month on subscription (10% off), and ships free to the United States and Canada. VITALS™ has not been studied as a finished product in a clinical trial; research referenced on this site relates to individual ingredients, and several — including lion's mane, MSM, milk thistle, citicoline and PQQ — are included at amounts below the doses used in the cited studies.
